CLIENT’S REQUIREMENTS
The client required a high availability centralised data storage solution with extensive upgrades to the LAN infrastructure. The solution had to offer minimal single points of failure.
ISSUES RAISED
Current switching fabric i.e. Data Cabling Infrastructure required extensive upgrades.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
Rapid Technologies installed a Storage Area Network (SAN) solution, which offered the CLC high availability access, capacity, resilience and scalability.
Rapid Technologies also implemented extensive upgrades to the switching core offering aggregated data and VLAN capabilities. The core upgrade also offered a capability of traffic prioritisation and resilient links throughout the core Network.
