CLIENT’S REQUIREMENTS
The client required a phone system that would use the existing structured cable infrastructure and integrate to their computer database.
ISSUES RAISED
The client was moving into new premises and therefore required, in addition to the new phone system, telephone line services to be installed.The client only wanted to work with one partner. The client had to have a smooth transition of existing telephone numbers from the old premises to the new premises to minimise negative impact on business.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
Rapid Technologies provided a Voice Over IP phone system that did not require additional cabling as it used the structured cabling already in-place. This system also offered the capability to be linked to desktop computers so that in-coming calls would bring up client records.
Rapid Technologies project managed the installation by arranging ISDN 30 lines to be installed immediately prior to the installation of the phone system.
