The Company wanted to increase productivity and improve communications between its office-based and field-based employees. Further, as part of its ISO 9000 commitment it wanted to reduce the production of paperwork.
ISSUES RAISED
Given that the Company was expanding the solution had to be capable of being flexible and up-gradable.
The solution also had to be capable of being easily integrated with the Company's existing Hardware and Software Network Infrastructure.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
Rapid Technologies supplied 20 Wireless PDAs to the Company for its field-based employees which enabled them to access diaries, E-mails, Satellite Navigation, Internet, Company Intranet and many other resources.
Rapid Technologies configured the PDAs and the Company Servers to enable seamless communication between the systems.
As a consequence of the solution provided, the Company's productivity significantly increased.
