CLIENT'S REQUIREMENTS
The Client required:
- a VSat Satellite System that would work in conjunction with its security system in a remote construction site.
- a VSat Satellite system that would provide the sites with internet communication (e-Mail, VoIP, etc.) in a location where there is no communication infrastructure (no electricity, phone lines or even mobile signal).
ISSUES RAISED
The solution suggested by RapidSat was innovative and therefore a working prototype was set up in order to demonstrate to the Client that the suggested solution would comply with its requirements.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
RapidSat supplied, installed and commissioned:
- a Two-Way Satellite system.
- a service of 2Mbit/s Downlink and 1Mbit/s Up-Link.
