Point-to-Point

Point-to-Point Radio is the establishment of a Radio-link between two sites delivering high-speed Broadband data services. i.e. For the delivery of Voice, Video and Data between branch offices or multi-site organisations.

Point-to-Point

Point-to-Point links can currently be provided offering capacities from 2Mbps to LAN speeds.

Radio can be deployed over large distances depending on line of sight and availability of suitable relay points.
This technology is in the main protocol independent offering little or no restriction on what services/data it can carry.

BreezeACCESS VL 4.0

Base Station Equipment

Installed at the base station site, the Access Units (AUs) communicate with the Subscriber Units (SUs). Each AU connects to the network through a standard IEEE 802.3 Ethernet 10/100BaseT (RJ-45) interface and connects to the outdoor units via a CAT-5 cable.

Alvarion offers two types of Access Units:

Modular Base Station Access Unit

(BS-SH-VL), which is part of the BreezeACCESS 19" 3U Universal Chassis. Each Base Station shelf can hold up to six AU modules of all frequency bands, providing reliable access to a maximum number of subscribers. Two power supply modules can be used in a BS-SH-VL chassis (either AC or DC) for fail-safe operation through power supply redundancy. The AU-D-BS includes a chassis based indoor unit, pole-mounted outdoor unit and a variety of sector antennas.

Stand-Alone "Micro Cell" Access

Unit (AU-D-SA), includes a small indoor unit, pole-mounted outdoor unit and a variety of sector antennas.

AU-D-BS series includes:
AU-D-BS-ff-VL-ant- a complete AU system including plugged in indoor unit, outdoor unit, and detached antenna *ff- frequency for example: 5.8 for 5.8GHz or 5.4 for 5.4GHz etc. *ant- antenna direction: 60 for 60º, 90 for 90º, and 120 for 120º

Stand-Alone "Micro Cell" Access Units:
Feature a simple, standalone, indoor module that is connected via standard CAT-5 cable to the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit is connected via RF cable to the antenna.

AU-D-SA Series includes:
AU-D-NI-ff-VL-ant - a complete AU system including standalone indoor unit, outdoor unit, and detached antenna *ff- frequency for example: 5.8 for 5.8GHz or 5.4 for 5.4GHz etc. *ant- antenna direction: 60 for 60º, 90 for 90º, 120 for 120º, and 360 for 360º (for 5.8GHz only)

AccessLink Series

AL

AL Series is a "fully programmable" PDH Radio Equipment; it has been designed in order to meet any low & medium capacity transmission need with a wide range of available interfaces, including E1, E3, Ethernet and STM-1.

AL Series is a "split-mount" Equipment, supporting all PDH traffic capacities ranging from 2xE1 up to 32xE1, using the most appropriate modulation scheme (4/16/32 QAM). Ethernet/Fast Ethernet LAN interfaces are also supported, with throughput exceeding 100 Mbit/s.

ALCompact

AL Compact PDH Radio Equipment has been designed in order to meet any low & medium capacity transmission requirement.
The traffic is carried on PDH and Ethernet interfaces adopting the most appropriate modulation scheme (4/16 QAM).

AL Compact is a "split-mount" equipment with protected or unprotected configurations available and radio capacity from 2xE1 up to 16xE1 on PDH interfaces and from 4 up to 64Mbit/s on Ethernet interfaces.

ALS

ALS Series is SIAE solution for transport and access SDH radio network applications. The ALS equipment series provides scalable data rates from 155 to 622 Mbit/s in a single hardware platform across the full range of licensed frequency bands.

A wide range of tributary interfaces and system configurations offers maximum versatility in system engineering and network planning.
Modularity options, commonalities and extensive software management capabilities allow for ALS cost-effectiveness and scalability, yielding a product that will easily adapt to changing needs in the future.
