two Way Satellite Internet
The RapidSat Broadband satellite service uses a 'Two Way' VSAT satellite dish, which transmits and receives data at high speed to and from a satellite, which is linked to the Internet.
No need for a phone line
The satellite dish is mounted on, or near, your premises with a clear line-of-site to the south sky. Inside your premises, the dish is connected by two RJ6 or RJ11 coaxial cables to an indoor unit.
The indoor unit connects to a PC or 'switch' via a standard CAT5 Cable and supplies your computer or your network with internet.
