Alan Cartledge

Account Manager

Alan brings over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, with a strong background in building lasting relationships and delivering tailored solutions for clients. As an Account Manager at Rapid, Alan works closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure they receive the right technology to support their goals. His approachable nature and wealth of industry knowledge make him a trusted point of contact for many of our long-standing clients. Outside of work, Alan enjoys getting out for long walks, completing DIY projects, travelling and making the most of the great outdoors.

Gabby Evans

Marketing Manager

After completing her A-levels, Gabby pursued a digital marketing apprenticeship, which led her to join the team at Rapid, which she has been part of ever since. As Marketing Manager, Gabby handles everything from running campaigns and event planning to website updates, SEO and all other things marketing related. Outside of work, Gabby loves travelling, spending time outdoors, shopping and playing football for her local team.

Graeme Wallis

Technical Director

With over 30 years at Rapid, Graeme is one of the longest-serving members of the team and a true cornerstone of the business. As Technical Director, he oversees all aspects of our technical operations, ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard. Known for his expert knowledge and calm, problem-solving approach, Graeme plays a key role in shaping the company’s technical strategy and mentoring the next generation of engineers. Outside of work, Graeme enjoys spending time at the gun range, sharpening his aim and relaxing with a bit of target practice.

Gregg Stuart

Business Development Manager

After completing a computer engineering degree at Birmingham University, then staying on to do a Masters degree, Gregg worked mainly in Automotive design and project management in London for the past 10 years. As Business Development Manager, Gregg is involved in account management and new client relations / lead generation for the Audio-Visual side of the business. Gregg tends to support bespoke projects as and when they arise and is looking to support Rapid in its expansion. Outside of work, Gregg is a season ticket holder at Liverpool FC, loves to play golf and keep fit.

James Price

Network Engineer

James began his career with the completion of a Computer Games Technology Degree at LJMU. He then transitioned his career into the Royal Air Force where he completed his Level 3 IT Technician Apprenticeship and served for 5 plus years as a Cyberspace Communication Specialist. As a Network Engineer, it is his primary role to keep our networks in top shape. He also gets involved in the configuration and installation of our technical solutions. In his own time he has many hobbies, including being an avid modeller, playing video games, playing guitar, reading and loves films.

Janet Wallis

Commercial Business Development Manager

Janet has been with Rapid for over 25 years, currently working as the Commercial Business Manager. Her background includes qualifications in Business and Finance, with a focus on Accountancy, Law and Management, which I utilise in day-to-day operations. When Janet's not working, she enjoys traveling, having had the chance to go on cruises in both America and Europe. She also loves spending time with her granddaughter, making memories together whenever they can.

Kit Stevens

Sales Director

Kit Stevens leads the sales team at Rapid Technologies, bringing a strong background in business and client relations. After graduating from Liverpool University with a degree in Business Economics, he built his career in the property sector before joining Rapid Technologies in 2022. Kit is focused on helping clients find the best technology to suit their needs and tasked with growing the sales team at Rapid. Outside of work, Kit is a keen golfer, an avid Liverpool FC supporter, and enjoys hitting the slopes whenever he gets the chance.

Leighton Hughes

Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant, Leighton helps keep the financial side of the business running smoothly. With a strong background in maths, Leighton chose to take the apprenticeship route to gain hands-on experience in finance, which has given him a practical and analytical approach to his work. Outside of the office, he's a big sports fan - whether he's watching a game or playing. He also enjoy fishing and hiking, making the most of any opportunity to be outdoors.

Mark Stevens

Managing Director

Mark is the founder and Managing Director of Rapid Technologies, having led the company for over 40 years. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted provider of AV and communications solutions, serving diverse sectors such as education, healthcare, corporate and government. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the industry have helped Rapid Technologies stay ahead in an ever-evolving technology landscape. Outside of work, you can often find Mark hitting the golf course or carving up the slopes!

Paul Blanton

Senior Lead Engineer

Paul joined Rapid over 24+ years ago, after college where he completed a course in electronic servicing and PC maintenance. Since then, he's gained hands-on experience in ,any areas. As a Senior Engineer, he works across all areas of Rapid’s portfolio. He is a qualified electrician and trained to work at height, with experience in everything from site surveys and project management to installation and commissioning. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time outdoors, relaxing with his family and their dogs and squeezing in a bit of gaming whenever he can.

Peter Cambelll

Network Engineer

With 14 years of experience in the telecoms industry, Peter works as a Senior Installation & Commissioning Engineer at Rapid. His role involves supporting new and existing customers with complete end-to-end solutions. Also helping existing customers with fault finding and system rectification. Over the years, Peter has built up extensive experience installing and commissioning technical equipment from a wide range of vendors. Outside of work, Peter enjoys traveling with his wife and kids, going fishing and is a big Liverpool FC fan.

Stephen Harris

Project Manager

Stephen heads the project management and delivery for Rapid Technologies. Having worked on site for many years he has in-depth hands-on experience dealing with all aspects of the installation types we are tasked with installing. This helps when managing projects to ensure a realistic approach is taken, and the customer receives a fully working professional solution. When not in work Stephen likes being outdoors and is a big LFC fan. He actively follows sports such as martial arts and Formula1.

Steven Caveney

IT Support

After studying graphic design, Steven started as a web designer and later transitioned into the IT sector, combining creativity with technical expertise. As an IT Manager, he oversee in-house IT operations for Rapid while also managing IT services for our customers. His role includes ensuring system reliability, security and efficiency across various networks and infrastructures. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with friends and family, walking, going to the cinema and supporting Liverpool FC.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time outdoors, relaxing with his family and their dogs and squeezing in a bit of gaming whenever he can.
