Transportable Satellite Internet
The RapidSat Transportable System (Mobile Satellite) has been especially designed for multimedia applications via satellite.
The Transportable Two Way System provides full time access to the Internet virtually anywhere via an advanced Two-Way high-speed satellite connection. The Transportable System works in conjunction with the RapidSat 250M and RapidSat 300M services. The revolutionary dish can be mounted to buses, vans or any other vehicle to achieve broadband speeds irrespective of where you are situated.
If you want Broadband Internet speeds wherever you travel, even in the most remote parts of the UK and Europe, the new RapidSat Transportable Satellite System will deliver, the Transportable System is scalable, reliable and secure.
Once the vehicle is parked, at a touch of a button the system extends and locks onto a satellite in approximately 3-8 minutes. Once aligned towards the selected satellite, you have access to various applications such as, High Speed Internet, Digital free to air television in MPEG2 format free, IP Telephony with customer's correspondents and reception of streaming in MPEG4 format.
The Transportable System has an auto-tracking solution that does not require a mobile phone or a phone line to connect to the Internet. If you have an unobstructed line of sight of the southern sky, you can have Broadband Internet Speeds.
The Transportable System is fully type approved. It can be licensed as a transportable earth station with Ofcom for use in the UK and for similar use worldwide.
