One Way Satellite Internet
Dial up your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as usual to establish a normal Internet connection. Once you have requested a page, or a file, all data is first gathered on the internet, and then sent directly to you at high speed via the satellite link. Using RapidSat for ultra fast downloading of files and software or watch streaming videos using your streaming media player.
You will have access to a number of free to view channels as well as subscription-based channels. It is the responsibility of the user to contact the channel provider to subscribe if viewing a channel that is subject to a subscription fee.
All you need for RapidSat is a PC (preferably Pentium lll or higher) and a standard internet connection via Modem or ISDN. Once connected to the One Way using RapidSat's satellite dish and DVB-IP modem (internal or external), your system is upgraded into a broadband multimedia system.
